I do miss Bella but now I have this to occupy my time, all day every day!
Kiki (with pink harness) and Frida and a little wrestle mania.
When I first got Kiki about a month ago, Frida wanted nothing to do with her, hiding under the couch all day. Now I can't get them apart. I guess when one door closes another opens up somewhere.
I just started leash training with Kiki, hence the harness. Even though she is about a year old she has never been on one. Yesterday she got her new harness and spent most of the day dragging the leash around the house. She did really well. We did a little leash work on the lawn and it was pretty funny. I have never seen such a little dog do back flips and such but amazingly she did pretty well by the end. Today we will do a bit more and this will go on for a few weeks. Patience is huge when working with dogs!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Had a nice short run today. Took it easy as I am upping my miles quite a bit and it's real easy for me to over do it, especially when the weather turns nice and cool. Today was also fun because I was breaking in a new pair of shoes (Yay for new shoes!) and a new pair of capris. I love that they fit so well and are a real nice dark blue, not that you can see that in these terrible pictures. They are made by Road Runner Sports and are affordable, fit really well and are high quality workmanship with a nice pocket in back. The shirt is Road Runner as well.
A 17 mile run on tap for tomorrow and maybe some short EASY trail work on Sunday. Maybe. I have family coming into town next week so I have been cleaning my house for days. I am a terrible housekeeper and every time someone comes to visit I vow to get better at it. Never happens! Probably never will.
I want to give a shout out to my running buddy Ginny who is running the Mount Desert Isle Marathon on the Maine cost this weekend! Do well my friend, have fun on those hills, and enjoy the amazing fall colors!
Capri's are the best, especially when you find a pair that is just right. Love the wrestlemania. It does amaze me how pets can become the best of friends!
The pictures may not be great, but you look fantastic!
So glad your pets have become buddies. :)
Love the wrestle mania! So cute together :)
You are looking super fit!!
Look at how cute you are, seriously cute! :) I haven't had success with capri's but they work well for you...I will have to give them another try.
Funny about your doggies not getting enough of each other now and loving that pink color Kiki gets to wear :).
Have a fantastic weekend of running...and um, cleaning :/.
Love ya!! And thanks for your VERY sweet message today...you always bring a smile to my face!! xo
Mount Desert Island is on my list of some day.
I think whoever "Invented" Capris should get a big bonus.
Looking good :) Is your hair in a ponytail? Has it grown that much or is the picture causing an illusion?
And kiki is so cute...they are adorable together :)
Yeah, housework is definitely not my forte either...that's why I like to have guests over once in a while, forces me to get some of it done.
Girl, you are looking awesome! I love those capris, I need some new ones for fall. It's nice to hear that your long runs are going well and congrats on your new baby :) !
I will run in shorts until it gets under 30 degrees and then I LOVE my capris. You look cute in them!
Hope the 17 miler went well!
